The Wonderful Inland Rail Terminal is a groundbreaking 130-acre facility that will be California’s first operating inland rail terminal with direct international service
Rail Capabilities
Designed to process up to 250,000 containers annually, the terminal features more than 18,000 feet of existing track and a BNSF-approved design supporting full-train, closed-loop service.
Inland Point Intermodal (IPI)
The terminal will offer Inland Point Intermodal service for both imports and exports, providing direct international rail access from the Central Valley while reducing long-haul trucking.
Who It Will Serve
Supporting the Wonderful Container Depot, Wonderful Logistics Center, and regional exporters, the rail-served inland port will create a more efficient link between California’s Central Valley and its coastal ports.
